Each club prepares a plan of action at the beginning of the academic year. One teacher is nominated to look after the functioning of the club. The different clubs in the college are:

Carmel Debating Forum- The Debating Club |
Various intercollegiate debates are chocked out under the auspices of the forum. It is a practising ground for the young minds for sharpening their wits and for polishing their gift of the gab. |
Cybelites-The Nature Club
|
Cybele is the Goddess of nature. Cybelites are the followers of Cybele. The club members are led with the motive of providing awareness towards environmental protection through various community awareness programmes, seminars, film show and exhibition. |

Scientia means Knowledge. The science club is functioning with the aim of producing future scientists. The various activities of the club are seminar, field trip; quiz competitions, debate & publication of manuscripts. |
The Archives-The Social Science Club |
The Archives means a place of collection of historical documents. The clubs intention is to popularise and make the subject interesting through the different activities of the club. |
Daffodils-The English Club |
This literary nook is an annexe of the English optional group. It is often a venue for letting out hidden talents as well as for conducting seminars, film review competitions and the like. |

The aim of women's cell is to empower the teacher trainees to play their appropriate role as a woman teacher. Work and family are the two major roles for women. The work-home interface, or the duel career of women, causes role conflict and stress. Hence the cell makes the trainees capable to discharge their responsibilities to make use of their potentialities of the womanhood to the maximum extend at home and to the benefit of others. Scholarly talks by eminent educationist, interviewing with distinguished women leaders, participating in the activities organised by the govt: and the voluntary organisations, arranging cooking classes, flower arrangement, stitching, candle making, counselling classes on integrating the duel role as a mother and as an employed an employed women are the various activities of women’s cell. |

Conducts various programmes like inter class/inter school Maths Quiz Competitions; Maths related Exhibitions and recreative programs. Aim of this club is to make Maths an interesting subject for all, to bring the public & practice teaching schools closer to and familiarise with the functioning of our college. |
Tourism Club-Globe trotters |
The aim of this club is to develop leadership qualities, to know about different places, their culture etc. To attain this aim, we arrange study tours and one-day picnic. |

This aims at developing professional skills through seminars on personality development, facing interviews, spoken English classes, placement in schools and colleges in Kerala and outside. |

Every student shall be required to undergo a medical inspection on the date fixed for it. The medical inspection report will be kept in the prescribed form |

The Magazine is published once a year. The editorial board consists of the Principal, two members of the staff, the student editor and 5 elected members from each optional class. Students shall make it the individual concern to contribute their best literary efforts to the magazine and help to give it good tone and standard. |

As part of co-curricular programmes meaningful activities related to Socially Useful Productive Work are organised through which the teacher trainees are given chance to learn income-generating skills like flower making, card making, embroidery, handicrafts, book binding and candle making. Every year an exhibition cum sale of the articles prepared during S.U.P.W. Sessions is organised. The money is utilized to support the less privileged sections of the society. |

To help teacher trainees to become familiar with problems of society, the college provides opportunities for them to visit Abhayabhavan, a home for the aged, run by Missionaries Of Charity Sisters on every Wednesday. On the last Thursday of every month, the teacher trainees visit Santhi Bhavan an old age home run by the municipality, give them snacks and help them to clean their campus. We come to know the psychological problems of children when we visit the Juvenile Home at Thiruvanchoor and chat with the residents. We also give free tuition to the poor students of the locality and help them to maintain good standard in their academic subjects. |
5. Spiritual Retreat for Staff and Students |
Once a year on any convenient time and for a period of three days, there will be a closed spiritual retreat for the Christian staff and students. |
