Governing body

This is essentially a policy making body for the institution.  The head of the CSST Educational agency is the president of the Body.  This body meets twice a year.  Its members are:-

Advisory Committee

The advisory committee is a consultative body and the major decisions arrived at are subject to approval by the Governing Body.  Meetings are held once a year.  The committee includes: -

Staff Council

The Staff Council is the Chief decision making body of the college.  The Council is composed of the Principal and members of the Teaching and Non- teaching staff.

Student Council

The College Union is the Student Government of the College.  The union consists of the elected representatives of the student community.  It comprises of the Chairperson, Vice  Chairperson, General Secretary, Arts Club Secretary  University Union Councillor, Magazine Editor, Sports Secretary and Association representatives.  All activities and Association within  the campus, work under the formal auspices of the College Union.  The Union is guided by two members of the  Faculty.

IQAC  

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
The national assessment and Accreditation Council advocated the establishment of Internal Quality assurance Cell (IQAC) by all the accredited institutions as a post accreditation quality sustenance activity. The institution established IQAC during the academic year 2005-2006.  The cell is composed of Principal and ten staff members. 

Objective:-
The primary aim of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.

Major Activities of IQAC:

• To improve on the grey areas pointed out by NAAC in the first Accreditation. (2000)
• Value added Certificate Programmes for the students to promote Academic Excellence.
• Infrastructure development.
• Faculty Improvement Programmes - refresher courses, State/ National/ International Seminars and Workshops, presentation of papers etc.
• Minor and Major Research Projects, Paper Publications in reputed journals etc.
• Organizing Conferences and Workshops at State and National Level.
• Extension Activities and Community Services.
